Hungry eyes all alight, the ebullience of reality.
Whether I am capturing my thrill at the work of an artist, producing collaborative portraits, or finding some obscure layer of reality to express how I feel in a concentration camp, my lens, my life; my camera, my guide. I am profoundly grateful for the energy that has brought me here, to you, today.

This is a still capture of the precise moment I purchased my first SLR camera, in 2003, just before my family moved from Richmond Hill (Savannah), Georgia, to Camden (Elizabeth City), North Carolina. I was thirteen. The date is incorrect.
My delights resolve in the light of others and in myself.
